App Privacy Policy
Revival Fellowship Apps Pty Ltd
SongLight V5 at a glance
Updated 21 October 2026. You can browse songs, read lyrics and scores, listen to available recordings and keep favourites on your device without an account.
If you create an account, we store your email address, name and chosen home fellowship, along with your news preference. Your fellowship choice can reveal a religious affiliation. Your account also lets us back up your favourites and personal setlist so you can use them on another device. A shared setlist can be read by people who have its Setlist ID and updated through WordLight.
Sign-in codes and requested support replies are separate from SongLight News. You can turn news emails on or off in your account, or use the unsubscribe option in a news email. Opening the news page does not subscribe you.
When you send a support form, we receive your message, reply email and the app/device details shown by the form, such as app version and operating system. We use those details to respond and troubleshoot the problem.
Production versions use Google Firebase Analytics to understand screen visits, sessions and a small set of actions, such as account creation, news choices and sharing. Analytics uses an app-instance identifier and can derive an approximate region from your internet address; it does not use your device's GPS location. We do not attach your account identity, email, search terms or saved song lists to those events. Advertising identifiers and advertising personalisation are disabled. We use Bugsnag for crash reports, app/device diagnostics and limited navigation context, without deliberately attaching your account identity or form contents. These diagnostic reports include an app/device identifier so related reports can be recognised.
Cloudflare and Google Firebase help us host and operate the app's services, store account and saved-song data, and deliver requested emails. Google Firebase and Bugsnag also process the usage and diagnostic information described above. Service providers may process information outside Australia. We do not use this information for cross-app advertising or sell it.
You can edit your profile and news preference, sign out, or request account deletion through the app's account settings. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or its cloud data. For access, correction or other privacy requests, contact us using the details below.
GatherLight at a glance
Updated 24 October 2026. GatherLight's fellowship map and directory do not require an account. Location access is optional and foreground-only, to show nearby fellowships; the app does not request background location. If you choose to save a fellowship contact, the app requests contacts access and opens your phone's contact form. It does not upload your address book to us.
If you subscribe to news, we store your email address, chosen home fellowship and an approximate country derived from your internet address. A fellowship choice can reveal religious affiliation. If you suggest a directory correction, we receive your name, reply email and the details you submit. We retain these submissions to provide the requested service and respond to you.
Production GatherLight versions use Firebase Analytics for app usage and sessions, and Bugsnag for JavaScript error reports and diagnostics. These services process app/device identifiers, app and device details and limited usage context. Analytics can derive an approximate region from your internet address. The Android map provider also processes request/device metadata, an SDK-specific identifier and map interactions to operate and improve its services. GatherLight does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app advertising.
Directory preferences and cached fellowship information are stored on your phone. Removing the app does not remove a news subscription or a correction already sent. Contact us using the privacy details below to request access, correction, deletion or removal from news emails.
